First EDGE Salon Explores the Present and Future of "Green-Collar" Jobs
On April 16, 2008, EDGE held its first "Linking Economic Development and Workforce Development Salon," bringing together a diverse group of state leaders to explore the future of "green-collar" jobs. Van Jones of Green for All and Doug Henton of Collaborative Economics, along with other prominent speakers, provided inspiration and information to an audience of more than 40 administration officials, legislative staff, workforce-development practitioners, business executives, labor leaders, and others.
